Mad River artists regularly conduct educational outreach programs.  Ranging in scope and depth from an hour contact session to multi-week residencies, we custom tailor our programs to fit educational objectives.  We explore music, story and theater collaboratively with student groups of all ages and often create original plays, skits and sharings to close our sessions.   Mad River Theater Works is registered with the Ohio Arts Council as an Artist-in-Residence company.  Funding is available to support such programs.

Residencies often culminate in school-wide sharings.  This program, for example, was a collaboration with an elementary school art teacher.  Students created a story and songs that accompanied an interactive puppet show.
